The Rewilding Angola project’s long-term goal is a 40,000ha plus reserve including a Rhino sanctuary, that is adjacent to Luengue-Luiana National Park (LLNP) in Angola, which itself is a 22,610 km2 (2,610,000 ha, the same size as Kruger!!), in the Cuando Cubango Province.

There are a number of stakeholders involved, including the KAZA initiative set up years ago by Peace Parks, as well as a new Commission set up by the current president, called Anagero…international funding is required to get ecotourism going in Angola as an alternative to oil and gas and diamonds…
