A unique rewilding opportunity is available in Tanzania. This is village land just outside the Ruaha National Park and the land is full of wildlife. The project owners have recently negotiated setting aside 20,000 acres and this could rise to 30,000 acres in partnership with the local communities for this project.
The Ruaha National park sits in the southern circuit of Tanzania and there are a few species that were a long time ago were hunted out including Rhino, which could easily be re-introduced along with other species.
